Day Wise Itinerary

Welcome to the beautiful Northeast! Upon arrival at New Jalpaiguri (NJP) Railway Station or Bagdogra (IXB) Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel in Gangtok (5,480 ft).
After checking in, the rest of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure. Explore the local neighborhood or simply relax at your hotel.
Overnight Stay: Gangtok

Altitude: 12,400 ft to 13,200 ft
After breakfast, embark on an exciting excursion to the breathtaking Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft) and the sacred Baba Mandir (13,200 ft). This scenic route takes you 55 kms away from Gangtok city into the high Himalayas.
(Note: In the rare case of landslides or if Tsomgo Lake is closed, an alternate sightseeing experience will be provided.)
Overnight Stay: Gangtok

115 kms / 4 hrs
Start your morning with a half-day local tour of Gangtok city. You'll visit some of the area's top cultural and natural highlights (approx. 3-4 hours):

In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic drive down to Darjeeling (6,710 ft). Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy the cool mountain air.
Overnight Stay: Darjeeling

Early 4:00 AM start
Wake up early (around 4:00 AM) and drive to Tiger Hill to witness a spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft, the world's 3rd highest peak). On your way back, stop at the historical Ghoom Monastery and the famous Batasia Loop.
Return to your hotel for breakfast, then head out to visit:

After breakfast, check out from your hotel. You will be transferred back to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey, carrying beautiful memories of the hills with you.
